There is a three way tie for my all time favorite script and this nearly wins. The reason for that was that it was a fun challenge for me to solve it. The key was figuring out a way to randomly generate several different dice but print them all on a single row. Ultimately I solved this challenge by employing lists and a random number generator, but you can check out the code linked below to get a better idea of how it works. Here's a screenshot:
Well, it's meant to be a "trade secret" but I will break the rules just once and explain to you how the game works. You will just have to live with the fact that you won't enjoy playing it since trying to figure it out is all of the fun!
Basically, you begin by telling the person you're introducing the game to the name of the game you'll be playing and that the name of the game is a hint to solving the puzzle behind the answers. After that, you roll the dice a couple times telling them what the answer is for each roll. It took me forever to figure out, but once you do you feel like a bit of a fool. The key to the puzzle is whether or not the die that was rolled is a 3 or 5. It's these numbers that have "petals around the rose"
As with all my other scripts and projects, it can be found on my Github page. The link for this in particular can be found here.
