Welcome! My name is Alice Becke and I’m a first year student at Charles Sturt University, Bathurst. I am currently studying a double degree consisting of a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) and a Bachelor of Teaching (Primary Education).

I finished year 12 last year and have moved to Bathurst from the big city of Sydney. It’s been an eye opening experience and one in which I have thoroughly enjoyed thus far. My course is extremely interesting and in the future I’m aiming to use my degree to become a school counsellor.

You are currently in my online e-portfolio which has been designed for me as an education student to apply my knowledge of digital literacy’s which are an important part of the teaching criteria in the 21 st Century. This site will also be updated throughout the journeys of my university career to add more relevant information in relation to my level of education as it increases.

In this site I will be able to reflect upon my current experiences as a learner as well as outline three crucial areas within teaching. They are, Curriculum & Knowledge, Pedagogy & Assessment and Becoming a Professional.
