Whispers from the Normandy is dedicated to
Commander Shepard and the effect she has had on our galaxy. We bring
you the whole, complete and unabridged truth about her life and
deeds from the point of view of someone who was by her side every
step of the way. Her Ship.
| "This was a force that controlled
the very fabric of space and time. They called it the greatest
discovery in human history. |
|
The civilizations of
the galaxy call it... MASS
EFFECT." |
The old vids are dramatic, to say the least.
But this much repeated quote on the topic of Mass Effect Relays
struck me as particularly appropriate to Commander Shepard.
Commander Shepard is a force which has shaped our galaxy in good
ways and bad. Her decisions throughout her career have had huge
effects on the civilisations of this galaxy, and while not everyone
agrees with them, everyone who's minds are open to the truth
appreciates the big one: The defeat of Sovereign.
This website was created to educate the
galaxy on the absolute truth behind one of the most influential and
important figures in history. Commander Shepard: Hero of Elysium;
First Human Spectre; Saviour of the Citadel.
This website does not endorse holding the truth
back from the citizens of the galaxy. We offer detailed information about Commander
Shepard's career here.
From her beginnings in the Alliance, to
her role as a Citadel Spectre, and finally her work as a
rouge agent for the Cerberus Corporation - it's all in there.
Commander Shepard may be a hero, but she is
still a flesh and blood woman. The Personal Life
page explores her
relationships with the people around her, details of how her
childhood on earth shaped her into the person she is today, and
offers a few fun facts about the woman behind the legend.
For those details not common knowledge among
the citizens of the galaxy we offer a codex
of information on
varying people, locations, creatures, technologies, events, and
cultures referenced in this site.
Commander Shepard is, however, just one woman. She could
never have accomplished the feats credited to her without a diverse,
specialised, well trained team to back her up. The Team
page offers profiles on these heroic men and women who often do not
receive the credit and respect deserved by their deeds.
| "You're not even alive. Not
really. You're just a machine, and machines can be broken."
