Amal is studying Bachelor of Business Study, Majoring in Accounting at Charles Sturt University.
This session Amal is studying Corporation Law. To find the Sections to qoute for case studies, Amal needs to searche the internet by accessing CSU Library databases, to find information about Corporation Law Legislation. Amal needs connect to CSU Web site, CSU select student tab and select library, then CSU's Catalogue, Databases; picks the letter "C" the reult is nothing, click on tab search, and type Corporation Law the result is in the file CSU.The result is 20 hits and that looks more promising as it contain material related to Australian Corporation Law, Amal can start by looking at AGIS, hopefully will finds the legislations.

When using the search tool Yahoo, Yahoo the matches are 264, and choosing Government clickin on Law, Australian only, Companies & firms the result are viewed by clicking Yahoo

the above reult narrow the the matches to 33, however it contains information related to overseas Corportaion Law, is puzzeling why it included other than Australian, this may discorage Amal and she may decide to choose other search engines as suggested by Yahoo.

When virtual library by accessing the web site Virtual Library, and clicking Law the result is one match. To view the result click Virtual.

Searching virtual library does not help to find the Australian Corporation Law Legislation, if Amal picks a topic Business & Commercial Law, Amal gets the same results, and picking Law School/Library by browsing Information Type the same results.

When using the online databases,Ovid this contain data related to ares of Art, Biological Abstracts and Current Issues and many other databases.
The articles on this site does not contain data related to Corpororation Law Legislation

To search Australian databases containing abstracts of journal articles can be accessed through CSU library click Electronic Journals, click ABI, gives a table of matches, pick the lowest hits first and if the information required is not available then pick the next, which will contain the previous information plus extra. Amal finaly found details relating to the topic, however it did not contain the legislation, it only refered to it. Despite the fact the legislation was changed recently and it would seem appropriate to be available.

Olympic Experience:

In the year 2000, Amal is volunteering for the Olympics and the Paralympics. She will be working as a Language Specialist at the Olympic Village and the Entertainment Center. Amal believes she is lucky to volunteer for the Olympics, as it would be a once in a life time awesome experience.
