Teaching Philosophy: I believe that a good teacher must be able to demonstrate subject knowledge, expertise and excellent classroom management skills. They need to acknowledge individual student differences and make learning the core element within the classroom. Students need to see that teachers enjoy what they are doing. If they see this, a trustworthy relationship filled with mutual respect occurs between the teacher and student. Effective teachers are also risk takers in that they set challenges for themselves so the student can strive to be the best they can be.
