EvilFAQ

Q: How do you make the comic?

A: I use a Wacom 6x8 Intuos drawing tablet, and I draw the figures straight into Adobe Flash. Then I export it as a 300 dpi bitmap image, and paint it in Photoshop. Other than that, with a lot of patience.

Q: Are the characters based on you and your friends?

A: Lots of people seem to say just straight out 'no', but it's true that I did base some characteristics of Dorian after myself, and Good and Evil are mostly how I interpret my own conscience. Some of the characters to come later are to be very roughly based on some friends, but I'll leave it up to them to figure out whether I've used them or not.

Q: Is Dorian based on 'Dorian Gray'?

A: Gasp! You have somehow decoded my most complex of all cryptographs!
Seriously though, he's a tribute to Oscar Wilde's character in name only (though I haven't yet decided if his last name is actually going to be 'Gray'), as the characters' personalities are totally and utterly different.

Q: Oscar Wilde? I thought he was in League of Extrodinary Gentlemen?

A: I suggest visiting a library and looking him up. Those wittisms will get you thinking.

Q: Don't you think that calling the consciences 'Good' and 'Evil' is a bit clear cut?

A: Yes, I do, but it's the best way to go for them, if only for the sake of simplicity. Keep in mind, what Evil does and encourages is not exactly 'evil' in my view, it's just meant to be self serving or in some way immoral. But, of course, Good isn't exactly totally innocent either...

Q: How does a comic with a single strip have 'frequently asked questions'?

A: By needing to upload an extra page to pass a university requirement, that's how.
