In January of 2006 my partner Catherine and I decided that we would like to take an overseas trip at the end of that year.
We decided on a 'Contiki' tour through Europe. The tour was named "European Vista" and we looked forward to visiting many European countries in a short space of time, one month.
On the list of countries we would visit was

• France
• Italy
• Vatican City
• Austria
• Germany
• Lichtenstein
• Switzerland
• Netherlands

We flew out late on the 29th December 2006 to arrive in England on the 30th December for 2 nights in London before the tour began. The tour was scheduled to run from 1 January 2007 for 21 days, arriving back in London on the 21 January 2007. After the tour we stayed a further 4 nights in London where we tried to experience as much of London as possible, and also met up with a friend that had moved over to London about 6 months before.
Unfortunately, due to work commitments we had to return, and flew back into Australia on 26 January 2007. I have set up this Travel diary to share with everyone the adventures that we had...enjoy!
