Jimmy's Thoughts...

Top Ten Tips For Concert-Going
- Don’t rock up too early. If you do, make sure you walk past the gig a few times and make fun of the ‘losers’ that are waiting out the front.
- NEVER wear the band shirt of the band you are going to see. Don’t be a try hard.
- Never wear a band shirt of a rival band to a gig. If you are going to see Axl Rose in concert, don’t wear your Slash shirt. You will get killed.
- Girls- Don’t wear heels. Wear some Converses. You will look much cooler and you won’t break your neck.
- Make friends with people you don’t know. You are never going to see them again, so why not pretend to be someone way cooler than who you really are?
- Watch out for the fan-girls/boys. These people are deadly. They want to be on that stage with the lead singer and they will kill/sleep with anyone they have to to achieve this goal. They are usually in Twilight or My Chemical Romance related t-shirts.
- Don’t get right in the mosh pit if you can’t handle it. If you have a broken leg, sit it out. If you don’t, don’t expect me to go easy on you – you may end up with two broken legs instead.
- Sing LOUDLY. Screw the person in front of you that thinks you are a douche, they probably only know one song and are jealous of your abilities!
- Stay away from drunk people. They are loud and obnoxious and will try to touch your arse any chance they get.
- Be prepared to get sweaty. Be prepared to get other people’s sweat on you. Be prepared to be jammed up against 3635626 people you don’t know. It’s half the fun!
And remember, as a wise friend once told me, “Any thrusting you may feel is purely unintentional!”
