• clear and prepare the ground
• plant, lay, and build
• dispose of all refuse
• leave behind nothing but a natural work of art

We choose only high quality specimens, chosen with an artist's eye, according to the follwing criteria:

• exceptional colour of leaf or bark
• shape and size of leaf
• growth height and spreading habit
• overall sculptural quality
• drought and frost hardiness

We build fitting backdrops to our plant specimens:

• bamboo
• reed
• brushwood
• pine
• cedar

We use a wide range of pebbles, pavers, and organic groundcovers:

• pebble types include: river, granite, quartz, scoria, and coloured and polished glass
• pavers include: limestone, bluestone, sandstone, and slate
• groundcovers include: pine bark, sugar cane, dichondra, pratia, or flowering prostrates such as "creeping thyme"

Because of our long experience in the field we have made connections with suppliers far and wide.

This means we can source specialty materials that other companies can't, such as rare species of maple,
or the highly prized blue granite from Japan.
