| Introduction |
Coming from Fiji Islands, there is only two sports which interests most people. One being rugby whether it be union, sevens or rugbly league. The second most common game between the Indian Community is soccer. Growing up as a kid, I would often sneak from home and play soccer till dark and then find time to study. Most times getting in trouble for staying out late.
After coming to australia, I lost interest in soccer and took up rugby league. Followed Paramatta Eels for a while until moving to the foot of the moutains. When it comes to footy, Penrith Panthers all the way. I follow them week in week out but the way there are performing its hard to pick on them to make top eight. One should never give up hope so I do have my fingers crossed hoping they will be playing grand final come september.
Another sport that really fascinates me is V8 super car racing. I don't drive a Holden nor Ford but I am a die hard fan of 888 and 88 Red Bull racing team. I did get to meet Craig Lowndes once and a very down to earth person. Hard to tell he has set a new bench mark in V8 super car racing from his personality. There is only two guys that I would want to see at the end of every race on a podium and they are Craig Lowndes and Jamie Whincup.
