The many books in my house

Why are there books in my house?

Full bookcase  As an avid reader from way back, I have collected over 300 books in my personal library. This is only what I know from last count, more have been added since then. So why so many? A few reasons:

  • Escapism
  • Enjoyment
  • Learning/Study
  • Research for work
  • To create a literate environment for my future children

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    What my husband thinks

    Voldemort should see a dentist by kevindooley.  A few things my husband has said to me over the years regarding my book collection:

  • Too many books
  • Is this one new? No dear I promise *bats eyelashes*
  • Babe, I need another book!
  • He is not against books, just the quantity I seem to accumulate
