Movable Type is commerical Content management system tool that caters to mainly buisnesses, big and small as well as power bloggers, and media companys. Movable type is a useful tool for the Information Architect because of the unique custom fields and plans that can be extended depending on the growth of the web source or buisness. Movable type also, just as Drupal does have flexibility in the content management tools.

By being able to customise alongside templates enables the Information Architect to meet the clients needs more effeicently.
LABELING
Movable type uses a lot of CSS coding and HTML, which can be quite the challenge for anyone that is unfamiliar with a technical side such as CSS. Using CSS coding and HTML is advantagous to an Information Architect and their other Internet Technology colleagues that may assist or do the coding as the labeling can be set up to best meet the clients needs. While this may be a time consuming approach and not as cost effective, the results will show evidence of time well spent. Templates are available however for those who wish to use them.

Movable types latest update has enhanced searching capabilities on the Content Management System. Movable type has search function that is a search and replace option. This is used over all areas of Movable Type, however the information is limited to the page you are working on. The Quick Search option is on the interface of the web source, and functions in the context of the page you are currently viewing. Movable Type also has the tools that ensure that Advanced Search is able to be integreated onto the site interface. This allows customised searching that can be limited to enable a more accurate result.
