2010 Butt Family Picnic Day

Wagga Wagga was the location for this year's family picnic day, held on Saturday 20 March 2010 at the Botanic Gardens.

Family members gathered for morning tea at 10:30 am and the formal meeting commenced at 11:15 am.

Although numbers were down a little this year, we were especially pleased to welcome a visit from family members from as far away as Longreach Qld.

Noel Butt and Janette Tiedemann were again elected for another term as President and Secretary/Treasurer respectively.

Amongst other agenda items, discussion was held regarding the location for next year's meeting, with Goulburn selected as our 2011 gathering point.

At the conclusion of the meeting, lunch was held at the Botanic Gardens with visits available to the adjoining Zoo and nearby Museum of the Riverina.

The group then reconvened at the Gardens for afternoon tea and later that evening met up again for dinner at the Rules Club.

Next year's gathering is scheduled to meet on Saturday 2 April 2011 in Goulburn. Full details will be circulated prior to the event.
