My interests include travel, photography, architecture, gardening and all things Disney.

Gardening

The image to the right is of my house and the garden.

When I first moved in there was no garden as such at the front of the house, just a large expanse of grass and a few large conifers.
Since then I have established a front garden. This image was taken recently, when the garden had been in existence for about 18 months.

My House

If you are interested, I have included some of the images I took on my various trips to the United States and Canada. If you move your mouse over the images, a brief description will appear.

My family think that I'm a "parkaholic", having visited 15 national parks and still counting. In addition to the parks, there is an extensive array of National Monuments (eg: Devil's Tower in Wyoming), National Historic Sites (eg: 83 Beales Street, Brookline Massachusetts - birthplace of John F. Kennedy) and National Battlefields (eg: Gettysburg) to mention a few. If you're a history buff like me, who also enjoys photography, you'll fit right in.

If I have whetted your appetite to visit these places, maps and further information regarding the United States National Park Service  is available online by clicking here.

So far I have been lucky enough to visit 40 of the 50 states - and I'm working on the rest!

I've also travelled to Europe and the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Java and Bali, as well as every state and territory in Australia.

Once the travel bug bites, you are forever poor!
