Placing a WORD document from Microsoft Office is relatively easy as long as you follow these simple instructions.

To get STEP BY STEP help

Access the HELP MENU in Dreamweaver

Under the Help Sub Menu click on the appropriate menu.

To save a Microsoft Word document in for Dreamweaver

  1. — Save your Microsoft Word document in one of the following

    2. Office 98 — Save as HTML

    Office 2000 — Save for Web.

  2. Save the document into the same Folder where you keep your Dreamweaver documentation.
  3. Open Dreamweaver

Open a new page

In the File menu > select Import > Import a Word HTML document.

You can either link this page to your COM112 homepage

Or you can Copy & Paste the document to another Dreamweaver document.

When you have completed the task e-mail the address of the reading to your workshop tutor.
