24/03/03-	Malaysian GP The Malaysian Grand Prix was certainly an event filled race beggining before the race even begun with the retirements of both Giancarlo Fisichella and Jacques Villeneuve. If that wasn't enough, contact between Michael Schumacher and Jarno Trulli led to a collision between, first Pizzonia and Montoya and then between Pizzonia and Verstappen, as the drivers took evasive action to avoid Trulli and Schumacher. Alonso(who started on pole) led the way through the first few laps with his biggest threat coming from Coulthard. Until Coulthard's shock retirement on lap two from mechanical failure. From then until his first pit stop Alonso was able to maintain his lead over the rest of the field. Once the top three(Alonso, Raikkonen, and Barrichello) had completed their pit stops their had been a slight shuffle in positions. Raikkonen now led the race and thats how it ended up. Raikkonen taking his first GP in a time of 1hr 32min and 22.195secs. Second was Barrichello 39.286secs behind and third was Alonso, scoring his first podium 1min and 4.007secs behind Raikkonen.	all these images are from the malaysian GP

Malaysian GP
