Christopher Franks (11390956)
This site provides access to the interactive web site mockup and
supporting description of design and information architecture features
completed as part of assignment 3 for INF440 Information Architecture for
the Web.
The assignment consists of three parts:
- producing short written evaluations of two information
architecture tools, the Plone open
source content management system and the OmniGraffle
diagramming software
- producing a mockup/wireframe design of a simple interactive
website to provide access to the IA tool evaluations and allow
users to discuss the evaluations in a Web 2.0/social web
environment, along with a supporting discussion of the site's
design features and the information architecture principles
applied
- developing and deplying a simple one-page web site (this site)
to host and provide access to the mockup and supporting
description document
The site mockup/wireframe design and site map were produced using
OmniGraffle, one of the information architecture tools evaluated, along
with the Garrett and Konigi
'stencils' noted in the evaluation.
