Information Architecture is a mixture between art and science (Veen, 2001), a melange of creative nous and clear principles and rules to maximise website construction and usage. Information architects have at their disposal a variety of tools to help in this role. Some help maintain or construct sites, while others show the importance of the architecture to clients. This website analyses three of these tools: analytics, diagramming software and automated taxonomy and classification software.
