Information Architecture is a mixture between art and science (Veen, 2001), a melange of creative nous and clear principles and rules to maximise website construction and usage. Information architects have at their disposal a variety of tools to help in this role. Some help maintain or construct sites, while others show the importance of the architecture to clients.
