Since I have lived such a large part of my life in St Clair it seems only right to give a bit of info about my home town.

In 1970 a new estate was developed in the western suburbs of Sydney. The Latex Finance Company named this new development St Clair. In 1977 Landcom acquired the land after Latex declared bankruptcy and built 2000 homes. One of those houses was the one I moved into with my family six years later.

St Clair has a land size of 7.13 km2

St Clair has two sets of shops. The larger St Clair shopping centre and the smaller Melville rd shops. Home to the best hot chips anywhere.

If hot chips don't interest you, St Clair also has a McDonald's, a Subway, a Red Rooster, Pizza Down Under, two Chinese Restaurants and a KFC.

St Clair has five primary schools and one high school. It is home to the Strikers junior soccer club, the Comets junior rugby league club, the Crows AFL team, the Wolves basketball team and a junior netball club.

There is plenty for bored kids to do in St Clair, there is the skate park and... Actually thats about all St Clair has. But it is a really good skate park, at least that's what I have been told.
