The Barnes Family and Bob

The Barnes family from
Bourke wanted a mature family dog who would interact well with four
young children and two teenagers. This meant finding a pet that would
enjoy a stimulating environment full of noise and people. We found Bob
in an animal shelter near Sydney. He had been owned by a large family,
but was reluctantly given up for adoption when his family moved
overseas. Bob disliked being alone and desired human contact 24 hours a
day. He was a perfect match. Bob and the Barnes family have now been
together for 3 years. Both parties are delighted with the match.
Larissa and the Cacti

Larissa from Penrith, NSW, had a hectic life,
working mostly nights in the city. She wanted a pet who could be self
reliant and not place too many emotional demands upon her. Larissa
disliked emotional attachment. After consultation with the Perfect Pets
team Larissa realised that all pets need attention and care. She
decided that the time was not right for a pet. Larissa now lives
happily with her cacti collection, which requires minimal care. She
hopes one day to progress to a bird or hampster.
Mitchell

The Tilly family of Perth contacted Perfect Pets
about their cat MItchell. He was a chocolate brown tonkinese male who
had begun to cry and howl at inappropriate times. Our pet psychologists
visited Mitchell 3 times and examined and analysed his behavior. A
solution was devised for Mitchell's attention seeking antics. Mitchell
is now well behaved and has stopped waking the family at 4am. He still
requires above average attention from the family, but has been taught
some boundaries. The Tilly family and Mitchell are happier as a result.
