I only have the one American cichlid, the Blue Acara, featured below. He is from central America, and is sometimes compatible with African cichlids. He used to reside in my big tank, but after numerous attempts on his life, was taken into protective custody, and now permanently lives in the hospital tank. That is okay though because he has regular visits from other fish. Currently there is a Johanii with anorexia living with him.
