Cable Releases and Self-Timers

Widelux F-Series

Standard Collar—Leica Nipple —Nikon Soft Release The Widelux shutter release button is surrounded by a screwed-on collar to prevent accidenta shutter release. The screw thread is the same as that used for the Leica and for the early Nikon F-series cameras (F1, F2, Nikkormat, FE, FM). Panon Shoko never marketed a dedicated cable release as Leica (and later Nikon) releases, as well as thrid-party versions) were readily available.
