|
Jack Mullins has been a volunteer firefighter for 50 years and has fought every major bushfire thats hit the area since 1956. And cleary Jack has managed to pass his passion for firefighting to his son Greg who is now the Commissioner of NSW Fire Brigade. Jack joined the local Volunteer Rural Brigade in 1956 and was deputy captain of the brigade for many years. Fifty years down the track he is still an active member and says he'll stay there as long as his body lets him. "The most outstanding fires were the ones in 1979 and 1994.
