Narration
The subject I decided to research is
"Marketing on the Web"
which includes its benefits and limiations.
The narrower topic is the advantages and disadvantages of marketing on the web. I also looked for information that related to basic marketing concepts.
I wanted to include information about basic marketing concepts so that I could define the advantages and disadvantages of marketing on the web in my essay.

In order to keep a record of the search I preformed and search resources,
I kept a diary of :

- details on usefulness of the search

By using "" it requires that all retrieved pages contain that search phrase.
3,70000 hits were returned
From the results of the search, I knew right away that I need to refine my search terms
and use the advanced feature on the search engine.
However I did look at the first ten pages listed on the screen.

Search results: 18,300
There were once again to many sites to be included in my assignment.
Google (attempts to) return the sites it deems relevant. The most relevant are shown on the first result
screen.
Google measures relevance by how many vistors/hits a particular site has,
the more hits ( this must be a good site if it has a lot of hits)
the higher the rating.
So I always look through the first ten sites before searching again.
I also used the similar page feature if the site has relavant information.
