Texturing

Texturing your model with Alphas can now be done in real time on Zbrush 3 if your new to Zbrush well then you would not understand what this means to Zbrushers world wide, basically before you had to do it in constraint manner very annoying ill tell you. Well this new way of texturing in real time not only saves time but allows you to see for the first time straight away what its going to look like once placed on your model.

-In your Alpha palette on your left hand side menu bar choose Brush 59 and then in your Stroke palette, under the Alpha palette, choose the DragRect stroke. (Note: make sure STD is turned on which is located under the Rapid UI button.)

-Now just left click drag on your model and you will see the texture being projected on to your mode., You will also notice, depending if Zadd or Zsub is switched on, that the texture has been engraved into your model or out of your model. This saves heaps of time when it comes to adding scales or pores or winkles to your model.

-By just switching from Zadd to Zsub you can get scaly skin or veiny skin, you can also create your own textures on photoshop, then just import them in through the Alpha palette.
