Modeling
Looks like your getting the hang of it huh, well now I will demonstrate some advance modelling techniques which will help your model stand out lets get continue...
5.If you check on the right hand side of your interface Frame you will be able to see the polygroups in different colours this is handy when Tweaking your polygons. By simply checking Tweak which is right under STD on the very left hand side of your interface and then making sure Draw is checked on, you will now be able to Tweak the Intersections of your models polygons. Personally this is how I prefer to workwith Zbrush as I feel like I have moe controle over my polygons. Now try with your mouse to drag the points out you will also notice with X turned on your actions will be mirrored saving you alot of time to do everything and allowing you to see what its looking like in real time.
Well you might be thinking how is this an advantage when it comes to modeling well with this simple banana shaped polygon model, a have like any good cook a prepared model which yes, I just used the banana to create from as you can see in my followin images this took me about half an hour and I all I did was drag the polygon faces about. Everytime I feel like I can go up a subdivision I just amp up the density by one notch until I finally reach 8, The density bar is located in the Adaptive skin palette, once I have reach 8 I then click Make Adaptive Skin button. Which will create a polygon model which I then can even go higher in subdivision by selecting Geometry HD then checking Dived HD, then Sculpt HD allowing you to view your model a very high polygon count.
well now you can doodle around yourself and watch out for some of my soon to come video tutorials. (which will be free of course)
