Outdoor Adventures - Bushwalking NSW
|
|
Outdoor Adventures has been introducing people to beautiful Australian landscapes for over 20 years. We run guided walks through some of the most popular spots in NSW as well as some hidden gems that you won't find in your tourist brochure. The walks are rated beginner, intermediate or advanced so there is something for people with all levels of fitness. The walks conveniently begin and end near public transport. If you are in Sydney please drop in and say hello at our office.
Outdoor Adventures began in 1991 as the brainchild of Ptyor Chigasky, an immigrant from Italy. As a child he would scale the Pyrenees mountains collecting wildberries and mushrooms. He loved spending every free minute out of doors. Later when his family immigrated to Australia he was disappointed in the arid landscape. However he soon grew to love the hidden surprises of the land.
In his mid-twenties, Ptyor joined a bushwalking club and explored the area. Soon he was leading his own walks. He was inspired to start his own bushwalking business, Outdoor Adventures. As its popularity grew, there was need to hire new guides and expand the number of walks. It is now very popular with locals and travellers alike.
Anthony Hill
Anthony came to us with extensive knowledge of bush survival from his army training. Don't worry though - a buswalk with Anthony won't be a mini boot-camp. His army experience just makes him a superb navigator.
Shirley Crane
Shirley has a love of all nature from marsupials to native wildflowers. She is an expert at identifying bird calls. She is also interested in conservation. A walk with Shirley will certainly leave you with a lot of cool animal facts and a desire for more adventure.
Dexter Brown
Dexter is bit of an adventure-junkie having done sky-diving, bungee jumping and abseiling. He leads the most challenging walks that we offer. His vast experience will have you rock-hopping and creek-crossing in no time.
