Destiny
All I keep hearing about Destiny is, 'this game is going to revolutionise console gaming'. It is the new project from the original creators
of the Halo saga, Bungie. It is said to have massive online multiplayer, where random players jump in and can join you on quests and you can
defeat bosses, or just explore together and run into other players doing similar things. But it also has a competitive multiplayer so
you can still showcase your combat skills and earn respect on the battlefield. It is a sci-fi adventure shooter. Again it has alot of armour
customisation which is a huge PLUS for me as you've probably worked out by now if you read my game lists. Another cool aspect im really
excited about, is the fact that each player gets the chance to align themselves with a certain faction. The names of the factions we know
so far are: Dead Orbit, Future War Cult (FWC), New Monarchy, Osiris and the Seven Seraphs. It's not known yet how these factions will be
involved with the multiplayer aspect, but I think having big team battles involving members of the the 5 factions or teams would be an
awesome level of chaos. I'm going to follow online updates for this game until release because it is hopefully how I intend to spend my summer
holiday break!
The Elder Scrolls VI
Two previous elder scrolls games made it into my list, and I would've indcluded the fourth game, which was 'Oblivion', it was an awesome game
but I didn't want to go too overboard with the series. Obviously I'm a massive fan of the Elder Scrolls series, I love the freedom of
gameplay and the lore behind the game world. It has such a captivating history, with everything that's happened in the past having an influence
on the current state of the world. I haven't heard too much about the next game in the series, only that it MIGHT be linked to the Redguards,
who are one of the character races you can choose from in the game, and their homeland is set in and arid desert land called Hammerfell.
One thing I would like to see in the game would be some new magic types. I think they could include some new magic areas such as 'force'
magic. As in bending air forces that let you push characters back or lift them up, I think that'd be a welcome addition from the set
fire, ice and lightning concept that was in Skyrim.
Grand Theft Auto V
I haven't played a Grand Theft auto game since San Andreas, and can't wait to get back into when it's released. I've read it follows 3
different characters in the main story, each with their own 'skill set', which probably ranges from better driving ability and better
shooting ability. I can't wait to have some more police chases across what seems to be another huge map, trying to raise my Wanted
level up to 6 stars to call in the army, then attempt to lose them darting between alleys and expressways on a dirtbike. It will be good
to take a break from some intense storylines in upcoming games, and just drive around and explore in Grand Theft Auto V.
