3 size types of Ukulele are..
1. Soprano Ukulele
Here are a few basic features of a Soprano Ukulele:
- Smallest Ukulele of the Ukulele family.
- Tuning is A4-D4-F#4-B4 or G4-C4-E4-A4.
- Holds a "standard" tone for a ukulele.
- Has 12-15 Frets.
- A lot transportable than the other Ukulele sizes.
- Best bang for buck than the other sizes.
- People with larger fingers or hands have trouble playing the soprano ukulele.
2. Concert Ukulele
Here are a few basic features of a Concert Ukulele:
- 2 inches longer than the Soprano Ukulele.
- Tuning is G4-C4-E4-A4, A4 D4 F#4 B4, or G3-C4-E4-A4.
- Enhanced Soprano sound. Louder with a deeper tone..
- Has 15-20 Frets.
- More Tension on strings than the Soprano.
- Bending strings are alot easier.
- Frets are a bit more spaced out.
3. Baritone Ukulele
Here are a few basic features of a Baritone Ukulele:
- The Baritone Kkulele is the biggest of the Ukulele family.
- Tuning is low D-G-B-E.
- Produce a deeper fuller sound.
- Has 19+ Frets.
- Baritone ukuleles are great for blues players and fingerpickers.
- The length is 30+ inches.
