ANZAC Biscuits
I am a pretty big fan of ANZAC biscuits... but I'm not very good at making them.
On my last attempt I burnt most of them. Partially the blame falls on the recipe I followed that said to heat the oven to 200C. However ultimately it was I who failed to keep an eye on the job.
This is my latest attempt.
The recipe I used is from the back of the bag of shredded coconut (note that the recipe on the mckenzies website is different from that found on the packet).

1.5 Table Spoons |
Step 0
Pre heat oven to 150C
Step 1
Melt butter and golden syrup on stove.
Dissolve baking soda in to boiling water and add to butter.

Step 2
Combine dry ingredients in mixing bowl.
Add melted butter mixture.

At this point if you have lost interest in the entire process, you can just eat the mixture... it is very good.
Step 3
Place table spoon sized blob of mixture on baking tray and place in oven.

Step 4
Cook for 15-20 Minutes.

Conclusion
Probably not a good idea too use to much butter. Not sure what the consequence of using wrong flour and baking powder is.
Still edible.
