* The Master of Arts in Liberal and Policy Studies is an interdisciplinary master's degree with interdisciplinary curricular flexibility via a Master's thesis or capstone project, by part-time enrollment via distance education. Accredited in the Netherlands, Switzerland and is the first degree awarded in Australia with a registered onlinel university, 1995. Ken was the 1st Australian academic to be awarded an online degree (MA) from Paideia "Virtual University" The Australian (6 Sept, 1995). Professional/Personal Notes

Ken Eustace is an ICT Lecturer in the School of Computing and Mathematics at Charles Sturt University. He has published in several international journals, presented papers at international conferences, and has much practical experience with Web technologies, ICT Security (WiFi Survey 2013 in Hong Kong), Social Networking and Online communities for business, education and aged health care. He has regularly teaches Programming Principles (Python), E-commerce technologies, Business applications development, IT management and IT project-based subjects at postgraduate level.

His PhD topic was "Building Effective Learning Communities Online: An Ethnographic Study" and continues his work in that field on developing, integrating, and delivering e-learning architectures; innovative curricula for virtual universities; collaborative learning and research perspectives as a Border Studies Associate. In 2010, Ken was appointed President of the Paideia Foundation, which operates Paideia University and the Border Studies Associates Network with its headquarters in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and the Google cloud. His research interests are inter-disciplinary and include the FoR code used by HERDC :

Ken is a member of the Centre for Research in Complex Systems (CRiCS) and the ICT Security Group at CSU; a professional member of the ACM; a member of IFIP WG 3.6 Distance Education, Australian Council for Computers in Education (MACCE), Association for Adjacent Education (MAAE), Geneva and a director of the Internet Special Projects Group at CSU since it foundation in 1994; member of Australian Council for Computers in Education (MACCE); the Association for Adjacent Education (MAAE), Geneva.

The ISPG research program began in 1993 with the Web as a new learning technology, then with work on Web interfaces to agricultural research information, extension technology, Web 2.0 collaborative technologies, and the business opportunities of online communities as expressed through the Silo Project (the Online Farm Community at http://silo.csu.edu.au/) at Charles Sturt University in late 1995. As an ISPG director, Ken Eustace has worked with colleagues in around the Asia-Pacific on the use of ICT environments in e-learning and continuing professional development, HCI and computer supported cooperative work (CSCW). Since 1994, teaching and research with telelearning environments began with MOO (enCore), ZOPE, MOODLE, Drupal, Joomla and the rollout of the Sakai-based learning environment called CSU Interact as part of the wave of Web 2.0 technologies and social networking in education. Since 2010 the use of ICT in learning and teaching included PebblePad for ePortfolios and Wimba and Adobe Connect for live classroom action.
