What is Storytime
Storytime sessions are for
children under 5 and parents/guardians.
Sessions are held
once held weekly at most East Gippsland Shire Library
branches.
Storytime sessions
run for approximately 50 Minutes and includes:

The aims of storytime
To promote the library
and to encourage children and parents to become library users.
To
introduce parents and children to the children’s collection.
To
foster an interest in reading.
To build an ongoing relationship
between borrowers and library staff.
To offer the social
experiences of participating in a group.
To provide an enjoyable experience for children and
parents.
