Storytime What is Storytime Storytime sessions are for children under 5 and parents/guardians. Sessions are held once held weekly at most East Gippsland Shire Library branches. Storytime sessions run for approximately 50 Minutes and includes: Stories Songs and Dancing Poems and Rhymes Craft Activities   Storytime Schedule 2010 Bairnsdale Library Tuesdays 11.00am Lakes Entrance Library Tuesdays 11.00am Orbost Library Friday 10.30 am Paynesville Library Friday 11.00 am Omeo Library Wednesday 11.00 am The aims of storytime To promote the library and to encourage children and parents to become library users. To introduce parents and children to the children’s collection. To foster an interest in reading. To build an ongoing relationship between borrowers and library staff. To offer the social experiences of participating in a group.
