My name is Kristy Roberts and I am a first year student at Charles Sturt University in Bathurst. I am studying a bachelor of Education in Primary teaching.

I have recently completed my HSC in 2004 at Trinity Catholic College in Goulburn, throughout my life I have always enjoyed working with children, I experienced this through; school work experiences, hosting children's birthday parties at McDonalds and Romp and Stomp, and child minding. After working with children and doing exploring early childhood for the HSC, I decided to pursue my passion and study Primary teaching.

Teaching Philosophy's-

My aims and goals as a teacher is to firstly fore fill my studies to the best of my abilities and complete my university education.

As a teacher my aims and goals are to ensure that the individual needs of a child is met, and that I cater for a range of student abilities, I will strive to be the best learner and educator I can possibly be and strive also, to install a sense of passion within the children over their work and their abilities.

Another goal of mine as a teacher is to make every lesson better than the last, making sure lesson's are interesting. I also aim to be the best evaluator I can be to ensure appropriate measures are taken in order to correct errors and ensure a pleasant environment and happy students.

My teaching philosophy is;

Education creates a path, Teachers are the guides that help you enjoy the journey, Peers give you company along the way, but you determine your destiny.

Education is the doorway to enlightenment.
