This site was created to post reviews of computer games written by independent game studios (rather than be large, well backed studios). While lacking the money of larger studios independent studios are also free of the influence of large publishers. This means that they are free to pursue ideas that larger studios may not be. The end result is often a game that lacks polish, but makes up for this with originality.
Another purpose to this site is for the author to demonstrate a basic knowledge of XHTML. This is done by creating four pages with relative links, as well as a using relative links to a common style sheet. This style sheet is overridden on some pages (such as this one) with an internal style sheet. Use of images and external links is demonstrated on the review pages, while use of tables and lists (in this case an order list) is demonstrated on the mainpage.
This site was created by Liam Mahony. Liam Mahony is a First Year Information Technology student at Charles Sturt University. He has (tentatively) selected software development as his major. He is studying part time via distance education while working full time. This is not the first time he has used HTML, but it is the first time he has created a complete website.
