Welcome to my e-portfolio, a summation of
my understanding of the knowledge of what the teaching profession is
about and what it will require of me in developing my career as a professional
school counsellor. The purpose of the site is to display what I, as a
student of the Bachelor of Social Science (psychology)/ Bachelor of Teaching
(Primary) have already achieved and intend to achieve in the specified
areas;

Becoming a Professional
Having spent my 17 years of childhood in my home town of Lithgow attending
Cooerwull Public School and Lithgow High School, attending Charles Sturt
University, Bathurst deemed to be a wise option for me.
I have, from quite a young age, known that teaching in a primary school
environment was the professional path that I was going to pursue and, through
much hard work in my secondary education years, achieved acceptance into
this prestigious university.
Upon completing this degree I intend to enter the teaching workforce as
a Primary Education Teacher, wherever job opportunities permit. I would
later like to complete the additional education needed to become a school
counsellor. I feel that teaching in any environment would be appropriate
for me.
