Review: Evernote
How it will save time: using Evernote doesn't demand a strict research framework before you start a project. You can spend more time talking to people and reading and less time organizing your notes.
Comments: this is bar-none the best tool for capturing data in existence. Copy down a note, or take a photo of a label, and Evernote will read that information and apply meta-tags to your data. You can capture thoughts, words, snippets of audio, photographs and video using whatever device you have at hand. It then syncs to the cloud and is available thereafter in every other context. Evernote is a great tool for capturing value on the run. Use it for task analysis, user-profiling, and content audits.
The one downside of Evernote is that is proprietary and only free for limited use.
