Laws of the Game

There are two laws covering all age groups that play Rugby League which will assist you in completing the Level 1 referees course.

• u/6 to u/12 (Mini / Mod Laws) (PDF, 1.14MB)
• U/13 up to and including Open age (International Laws) (PDF, 839KB)

Please note that from U/6 to U/15, the National Safe Play Code (PDF, 1.41MB) is applied and is enforced.

Referee and Touch Judge Signals

Beep Test

This is used to assist in a referees personal training program. It is a mp3 audio file. The Brisbane Rugby League Referees Association may conduct a beep test on referees during the Rugby League season to determine a persons level of fitness.
