    • Transcript can cater to users with slow connection
    • Transcript can also enhance search engine’s indexing for the website

Security Upgrade

  • Implement security feature for online consultation page
    • Customers’ detail and credit card info can be transferred securely
    • Increase customer confidence

How to implement?

Accessibility

  • Include captions when making videos for the site.
  • Provide transcript for the videos

 Security feature

  • Choose and apply Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificates to the website.
  • Allows data transfer from web browser to server securely (Felke-Morris, 2013)
  • Choose and implement secure online payment gateway to accept customers’ credit card details from online consultation page.
    • To avoid fraudulent transaction
    • Both seller and buyers are protected
      (SecurePay, 2013)

Advantages of these upgrades:

  • More accessible to different users groups
  • Provide safer online transaction, which can attract potential customers.

Disadvantages of these upgrades:

  • Video production time will increase
  • Website maintenance cost will increase.
    • SSL certificates cost approx US$400 per year (Symantec, 2013)
    • Online payment gateway cost approx AUD $500 per year. Price varies depending on the number of transactions (SecurePay, 2013)
