Job losses expected as Johnson's assembly plant goes into administration
Last Updated - 20 May 2011
It has just been announced that Johnson's assembly plant has gone into administration. The plant which employs 125 locals has been a key contributor to the Dudsville economy.
The company has been under pressure in the last few years as Johnson's services are seen as expensive compared to offshore operations in China.
Michael Johnson, (C.E.O.) stated, "With the recent economic crisis and reduced subsidies from the Govenment, I am sad to confirm that Johnson's has now entered administration. We are currently looking at working with a consultancy firm to establish how to proceed."
It is Dudsville Online's understanding that employees may lose some benefits. We will keep you up to date as more information becomes available to us.
