Economics 320- Macroeconomic Activity

Welcome to Economics 320: International Economics. International economics is the study of the flow of goods, services, capital and labour between countries.

The text for Economics 320 is Salvatore's "International Economics". The book is currently in its 8th edition. You can use earlier editions, but be aware that there will be small changes between editions.

The lecture period is two hours. The first hour of each lecture will have a "formal lecture with lecture notes" format. The second hour will be used to work through exercises and problems, to examine real-world data and discuss how to derive results from the data, to work through practice problems and to have quizzes and exams.

There will be a written submission required for each lecture, which may be in the form of a quiz, a worked exercise or problem or a response to a question. Some of these pieces will require work outside of class, whereas others will not. Students are required to submit pieces from 10 out of the 13 lectures (including the midterm exam). Failure to submit at least 10 pieces will result in an automatic Fail grade for the subject.
