Rachel O'Brien, BCMS(Hons) Waikato, MSc Victoria, PhD Curtin, Lecturer, Spatial Sciences

I joined Charles Sturt University in November 2005, after completing postdoctoral research at University of California, Berkeley in conjunction with the International Center for Tropical Agriculture in Cali (CIAT), Colombia.

I teach on campus and distance education information technology and GIS (Geographical Information Science) subjects, based on the Thurgoona campus in Albury-Wodonga. I will also be continuing research in geographical information science and programming, in particular ecology and agricultural applications.
