PhD Scholarship in Image Processing with $30,000 per year stipend
Project: Developing a hyperspectral imagery based decision support system for soil assessment using vegetation pattern
The project investigators are A/Prof Manoranjan Paul (CSU), Prof Leigh Schmidtke (CSU), Prof Manzur Murshed (FedUni), A/Prof Shyh-Wei Teng (FedUni), Prof Guojun Lu (FedUni), and A/Prof Ferdous Sohel (Murdoch)
The stipend is $30,000 per year for three years. The student should have Masters/Honours degree in Computer Scinece, Information Technology or relevant discipline with good computer programming skill. He/She must have Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen.
PhD scholars through the Soil CRC will have opportunities to develop their industry knowledge and relevance, through additional training and networking opportunities associated with the Soil CRC, and will be part of nationwide cohort of Soil CRC postgraduate students.
They will have the opportunity to work with researchers, farmers groups and industry from across Australia and New Zealand through the Soil CRC PhD program. They will also work with other partner universities
