• Graduated from Charles Sturt University (CSU) with an Honours degree in Human Movement and a Doctor of Philosophy in Exercise Physiology.
  • Course coordinator for the Master of Exercise Science (Rehabilitation) and coordinate and deliver a number of undergraduate subjects realted to exercise rehabilitation, including Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation, Exercise in Cardiorespiratory Health, and Exercise Testing, Prescription and Rehabilitation.
  • Research interests include the interactions between resistance exercise (weight training), nutritional supplementation (CHO, EAA, PRO ingestion), biochemical signals (hormonal response), and modification of molecular programming (genetic expression).
  • Provide referred clinical exercise physiology services under the Medicare Scheme through the Exercise Physiology & Functional Rehabilitation Clinic at CSU.
  • Have previousuly served as Department Head, Strength and Conditioning, Komite Olympiade Indonesia (National Olympic Committee of Indonesia) and Senior Advisor, Sports Science Division, National Elite Squad Athlete Program of Indonesia. Responsible for overseeing competition preparation for all members of the Indonesian National Squad for scheduled events by the Olympic Council of Asia, including the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, where I attended as part of the Indonesian national contingent.
  • Former recipient of the ISC Scholar Award (2004), NSCA Graduate Research Award (2005), AAESS Medal (2006) and NSW Sports Saftey Award (2007; 2009).
