What are the issues associated with plagiarism on the web in relation to educational organisations?

This search report was created using a variety of search tools such as online encyclopedia, online newspapers, CSU library databases, educational databases,  a virtual library, online magazines and search engines.  The purpose for accessing such a wide variety of search tools was to obtain thorough research results in addition to different point of views and resources on the topic of plagiarism in educational institutions.

On completion of all the searches I discovered that in terms of resources there are many web pages covering the topic of plagiarism and importantly the sub-topics of prevention and detection.  Most of these resources contained similar  information .  However, I obtained different point of views and different aspects of web-based plagiarism in educational institutions when I searched newspaper and magazine articles.  This created additional sub-topics for my essay and made the final result more complete in terms of thoroughly covering the topic.
