Hi there, and welcome to my website!

This site has been created as an assessable item for a university subject, but that doesn't mean the content won't reflect my real interests and hobbies. I will be covering the more predominant interest of mine, my love of literature and poetry.

I happen to love many forms of writing, classic prose, modern fantasy, gothic poetry, manga... reading is the ultimate entertainment to me. A really talented author can take you to a place that doesn't even exist, meet startling characters with depth, experience another person's life, and all from the safety of your own armchair. Or lounge. Or beanbag. Well, the point is, there is no need for widescreen tellys, surround sound systems or bluray players to enjoy these stories to the full - all you need is a good book and some imagination.

So why create a website? Well apart from the obvious assessment item reason, I believe that there are many others who share the same interests as I do. There may even be people out there who are interested in learning more about the things I happen to have a bit of knowledge in. Either way, this website provides both a medium for expression, and a way for other people to explore things they themselves are or could be passionate about.
