Our trip.

This site is to satisfy the requirements of subject ITC411 in the Masters course I am doing. It is for assignment 2, which requires a basic HTML site with a few pages about something or other that interests me. So I'll write a bit about a recent overseas trip that my wife and I enjoyed.

In early 2011 my wife and I went on an overseas trip. Twelve months later we returned to Australia. Yes, it was a long trip. We hadn't had a proper holiday in quite a few years and this was our chance to do it without one eye on the clock.

A little about me.

My name is Tony and I am currently studying the Master of IT course at Charles Sturt University. I have worked in the IT industry for around 20 years. Most of this time was in an analyst programmer type position, as well as PC support and service.

Some of this work was as a contractor, hired for a period of time to do a specific job. Being a contractor is interesting as it allows exposure to different work environments, systems and people. The downside is the temporary nature of the job. As soon as the job is done, or your time period is up, you are out of there and looking for your next contract.
