The Track - Kids race track

I saw this race track idea on Better Homes and Gardens and thought I would give it a crack.

Better Homes and Gardens made it look easy and said it would only take 2 hours and use 2 bags of cement. Well it took me 3 days and 30 bags of cement so I guess that's close.

Steps involved in this job included

• Level area and remove old grass.
• Dig out track and prepare for cement.
• Mix cement and shovel into the hole.
• Put tyre in place and cement in.
• Add black oxide at last minute to change the color to black.
• Smooth and finish cement.
• Add irrigation tubing around outside for ripple strip effect.
• Lay fake turf and peg down.
