The information Age is upon us. Every day more and more information is being generated. Our ability to absorb this information and put it to use can be the difference between doing a average job and a great job. I also believe that having the appropriate information can save us time. I have been very interested in ways that can help me learn faster since I have returned to studying. Being able to recall information is very important to me especially in the computer industry where I have to remember the steps to configure or trouble shoot equipment. I have searched the web (by no means an exhaustive search) and found some training courses and have used them. I hope the information here can be of help to you.
Photoreading by learning strategies
This is a very interesting course which claims to increase your reading speed by 3 times in a very short time.
I have used this for some time now. I haven't seen reading speeds of 25,000 words per minute but someone who has
is Humphery Cheung.
This is what he had to say about the course.

This site of Robert Link's is a very good one for improving your normal speed reading. He has a program for teaching
you how to eliminate your subvocalisation which slows down your reading speed. Best of all it is free!
Memory Optimiser by Learning Strategies
This course to improve your memory has some new information to help you better under stand how your memory works.
Although the advertisement says it does not rely on associations or peg lists I have a different opinion on it. Having
said that I still believe that this is the most effective memory improvement program I have used todate.
I have tried Master Your Memeory by Tony Buzan and Memory Pack by Andi Bell. I have looked at the Mega Memory program by
Kevin Trudau but have not purchased it based on the feedback I got from the forums.
