RTA Project
The RTA project started in October 2000. I joined it in March 2001 after a member of the team left. I worked in a team of 12 people migrating the email system from MSmail to Exchange5.5. I was involved in the client side deployment. There was 6 of us that did this. Our job was to travel to all the RTA offices in NSW and install Microsoft Outlook 2000 on the client's PCs, operating systems of Windows NT4 workstation and Windows 95. After installations ensured that the program worked, the clients can view all their emails and provide training on how to use and configure the program. This project ended in June 2001 after having travelled as far South as Wentworth which is at the South West corner of NSW and far North as Grafton. In total the team migrated a total of 4500 users.
