Who are we?

We are Wouter, Patricia, Emma and Erik Kalle. A Dutch family that moved to Australia in February '97. We left Holland because Wouter could not get a job after his contract was terminated. He is a molecular biologist and he tried for more than a year to get a new job. Jobs in Holland, especially at Universities are scarce. Via the internet he found a job in Australia and we decided to go for it. Patricia gave up her job as English teacher and off we went. Emma just went along because, being only three at the time, she just had to do what her parents told her. Erik wasn't born yet. And now we're here. In Australia. And maybe you wonder if we like it.
